Surf School!
This year in Hawaii we took some surf lessons! It was so fun...but I didn't last long because we had paddle boarded the day before! It just reminded me of how out of shape I am! I swear the waves we surfed seemed much bigger at the time! I swear these pictures were as the wave was dying...oh well! My favorite part was when my instructor "Sharky" took his friend's dog out to catch a wave!

Ty and Staci!
Love shooting this couple! I was so excited when Ty and Staci asked me to take some maternity pictures in Hawaii! I photographed their engagements, bridals, and wedding! So fun being asked to document them as they await baby boy Williams! They are so fun and always have billions of ideas for me! I swear I should pay them!

Christmas came early!
Many of you know my little Cohen is not a snuggler! Since he was a new born I have rarely had the chance to rock him to sleep. After we put him down for bed I could tell although he was exhausted, he couldn't fall asleep, so I went up to check on him. I put his binky in his mouth and decided I would try rocking him to see if I could calm him down. What happened next was so very sweet...He put his head down on my shoulder and but his hand on my chest ( just like this picture) and let me rock him to sleep. I rocked him for about 20 minutes and just listened to him breathe in and out. It was such a sweet gift for Christmas.

Happy Thanksgiving!
(This picture was taken on Thanksgiving day right before we ate...I was hoping for a different result!)We had a great Thanksgiving this year! We had a lot to be thankful for:
- We made it to Denver safely in our new family car a Toyota Highlander (so thankful for the extra room)!
- We spent the weekend eating yummy food and spending time with my family!
- We found out my brother and sister in law are having their fourth boy and that he is healthy!
- we got some great deals and had room to bring them back with us!
- the list could go on and on!
Hope everyone had a great holliday!

Eat in Kitchen
On Monday I met up with three of my Italy roommates! I arrived first and asked to be seated...the host started to lead me through the kitchen...I was very confused...I was even more confused when we stopped in the kitchen at our table. Bucca di Beppo has a special table where you can watch everything going on in the kitchen...it was crazy to see other peoples food before they did...I felt like I was working at Chili's again.

"Killer" New Moon Party!
My sister in law, Natalie, threw an amazing New Moon party Friday night! We had so much fun eating Italian food, playing trivia games, and getting excited for the movie. She went all out on the wolf cup cakes, water bottles tinted red with blood types, a red carpet, red candy for the movie, a CD, and much much more! Our friend Amy made everyone these amazing necklaces complete with mini pictures of the characters on bottle caps! It was a great girls night! I can't wait for the next movie to come out...that means another party! YES!

San Diego!
The trip started off fun when our brother in law, Eric, convinced us that we should all rent yellow Corvettes! With five couples driving yellow Corvettes we definitely turned some heads! We played football on the beach and ate at a trendy restaurant by the beach on Friday night.
On Saturday we had breakfast at our hotel called the "W" then headed for a day of animals at the San Diego Zoo! After the zoo we went to one of my favorites the Cheesecake Factory...but we weren't alone...Donovan McNabb (quarter back for the Eagles) was dinning not to far away from our table. Then we shopped at the mall right next door.
Sunday we went to the San Diego Chargers vs. The Philly Eagles game! Although we are no San Diego fans we did cheer for them...just this once! They won! We found out later that LT's wife (LT is a Chargers running back) placed a positive pregnancy test in his locker just before the game. He is now number three for touch downs just after Jerry Rice and Emmit Smith. For dinner we went to Old Town San Diego to eat yummy Mexican food. After dinner we were treated to Golden Spoon for dessert! Then we went and saw the Temple all lit up.
Monday we slept in and walked to breakfast near our hotel...it was very good. Dustin and I went and toured the USS Midway, an air craft carrier in the harbor. With a few hours left we did a little bit more shopping near the Belmont pier.
A special thanks to all who helped plan for this trip! I also wanted to thank my parents who flew out from Denver to watch our little guy for us! It was our first trip away from him...and it was hard...but we enjoyed ourselves.

Happy Halloween!
Here are a few favorites from last night! Cohen seemed stunned and confused most of the night! I think it was a bit overwhelming for him! I got to wear two costumes though the first was the starlet from King Kong and the second was a mommy gorilla! I love dressing up...so fun! Nanna, Pappa Rog, and pappa came down to see Cohen trick-or-treat for the first time!

Girls gone wild! (pictures and text wild too)
GiRLs goNe WiLd!
And when I say "girls gone wild" what I really mean is "seven moms who enjoyed a much needed 24 hour break for pampering, shopping, relaxing, eating, and having fun". We have been saying forever that we wanted to do a girls get-away and we finally did! We left Thursday evening and headed up to Hotel Park City and enjoyed dinner at Ruth's Chris then checked out our amazing hotel rooms where we spent the night.

We had a concierge helping us to our rooms and we asked him to snap a pic for us...well, he struggled. In this pic he cut off Lisa on the far left......and in this picture he cut of Natalie on the far right...so I had to post both pictures to get us all inGetting ready to jump in our own private hot tub out on the balcony. Chelsea was ready for some skinny dippin'...We also rented "The Proposal" and got comfy on this awesome pull out bed...which we ended up breaking because we had all our weight on one end and almost fell into the couch. In the morning we woke up to this! It was so beautiful up there!Once we were up we enjoyed some pampering and massages at the spa then we took off up main street for lunch, and then finished off the day with LOTS of shopping. We had so much fun! I can't wait to do it again.
