Iliana I hear ya!

I am just a little frustrated with my life at the moment!

That is all I could type before I had to run upstairs and change a poopy diaper...that was followed by throw up in my hair and clothes and pee in the bath tub! Don't get me wrong I'm in love with being a mom...and I'm grateful I get to stay home...I just have no life of my own! I just wasn't expecting that change. It doesn't help when you ask your husband what he has to do today and it includes snowboarding with friends (for work) If stuff like that was on my to do list I would be a happy camper!

So sorry for the vent but I don't roll over in the morning excited to clean my kitchen or organize my house. I just need a time out...so Iliana call me and maybe we can get lives together!

Oh how I hear you. I try and combat this feeling by doing something for myself each day. Usually that is going to the gym but hey it gets me out of the house for 2 hours and they watch Brody so I get some alone time. Melissa and I went walking last winter in the mall to get out a bit but our kids are on a different schedule so it's hard. I also usually find some reason to go to target at night and leave Brody with Jeremy. Those trips usually end up being at least an hour of me walking around :) just because I can! Maybe soon I'll take snowboarding or something fun back up. We'll see don't get too down just figure out something that makes you happy and schedule it in. I know scheduling it in is lame but it keeps me sane and makes me do it!

I hear your pain. Ella and Kate both threw up on me two days ago. I don't get out much either! It is too much work to leave.

I definitely hear you! Jeff works 70 hours a week (and gets to do lots of fun things in his job too) and I'm home with the kids all day. I agree with you...I love it and I'm thankful I can do it, but it's hard to have "me" time when you're never alone and there's never enough time!

Cute blog, Lisa! (got your address from your mom's Christmas card). Cohen is DARLING! I totally understand what you are saying. Shortly after Calahan was born and I quit my job, Donald asked me what I did with all of my spare time. Seriously? What spare time?! I hope you can sneak away soon for a pedicure or something with your girlfriends.
