Denver Here I Come!

I have decided to go to Denver for about a week! It is my nephew's 3rd birthday, my brother's 29th, seeing my best, and a showing of some privatley owned REMBRANTS...you know i can't pass all that up!

We thank thee for a Prophet!

Last night our beloved Prophet Spencer Gordon B. Hinckley died at the age of 97. He was a man of great integrity, compasion, faith, wit, and humor. I loved when his doctor told him to walk with a cane so he did...he carried it everywhere he went...rarely letting it touch the ground. However, most of all I will never forget the sweet testimony building experiences I have had with him as the prophet...he truly was a man of God. Although it is hard to think that I won't hear his voice from the beautifully carved pulpet (made from a walnut tree taken from his back yard) I feel peace knowing he is with he sweetheart whom he missed dearly the last few years. I know they loved each other so much. I will never forget the life and legacy he has left behind.

Baby shower for Keri!

Over 5 years ago I met the best four friends a girl could have! I never thought that seeing my favorite art masterpieces would fade to the memories I have with these girls! On Thursday we finally celebrated the birth of Blake (Keri's baby boy)...but we missed our LJ who lives in California...I hope we can see you soon LJ!

Card Class Valentine Coupon book!

Last night I taught my every other month "card" class. I thought they turned out super cute...wouldn't it make a cute baby girl album?

Yessss! Bowling Socks!

I know what you're thinking...Lisa where did you find those awesome socks? You have to do two things...first you have to not wear socks when you go bowl...and second you need to have Amy and Jason as friends! Thanks to Amy and Jason who treated us to bowling I have my second pair of these hot socks! Dustin was excited because I always wear his socks. I was excited because they are easy to find while doing laundry!

Just a random fact about me...I wear my socks inside out 99% of the time...because I think they were poorly designed!

And there was light!

Dustin is soooo smart! He is doing all of the electrical work by himself! Canned lights (10 of them), Internet, phones and air vents! I'm just excited that it is starting to feel like a real basement...once the electrical is done...things will go much faster!

Nice day for a white wedding!

I photographed the sweetest couple today! They were so excited to be married...they didn't even notice how cold it was outside! I think this was my favorite shot of the day...it's so peaceful.

Smart Guy!

A couple of weeks ago Dustin made our favorite corn avacado salsa for his mom's birthday party! The onion always kill us...so Dustin was smart and grabbed his scuba goggles...no tears for Dustin! Doesn't he look cute!

I was having some issues with my camera and needed to test it out to see if I could figure out the problems...but I needed models! Luckily my neighbors Carrian and Peyton said they would help me...thanks to my pretty models my camera is back to normal!

So I found something besides blogging that is addictive! Making baby announcements! These are my first try...I hope to get better and better as I practice!

Its hard to see whats going on here...so let me explain! a few weeks ago we went to dinner for my brother in law's 21st birthday (thats him holding the light towards me)! We ate at the Market Street Grill where he works...98% sea food! For those of you that don't know I haven't had red meat or sea food in over 13 years! My other brother in law said he would pay for my meal if I ate an oaster of his choice...not one to back down from a dare and an expensive free meal I did it! What made it even better was to see that same brother in law try to eat one...he spit it out!

umm...i think some didn't learn all they needed to know in photography school! I took better pictures of the motocross guys last year...but you get the idea! It never gets old seeing some guy do a back flip on a dirt bike!
